If you appreciate a charcoal BBQ, this is your place, from the moment you step into you will smell the awesome aroma of the great Persian BBQ. Pom Grand is a small, but original Persian joint. The food looks great, smells great, it is great!! Do not miss the incredible Saffron Ice Cream.

Delicious food and amazing service! The kabab koobideh was perfectly cooked on coal, full of flavor, and tender. Each meal came with a fresh salad side, which was a nice touch. The service was excellent—staff were kind, respectful, and attentive to every request. Highly recommend!

One of my favourite spots in Edmonton for sure. Always hits the spot, the food is always so delicious and the portions are great. Easily become one of my favourite comfort meals.

I've never been to the POM before but saw the incredible rating and pass by it on my Whyte Ave strolls without a second thought. So on a chilly winter night in YEG, my friend and I have a craving for meat and decide to give it a try. She orders the rack of Lamb and I have the BARG (CAB sirloin) with the Koobideh (ground beef and Lamb). The food was incredible. Persian food at its finest...simple as with many Eastern dishes...meat and rice. It was four worthy until I elected to try the pickles that came with it in a little side container. WOW. Together the bitterness of the pickles blended with the succulence of the meat on the full rice was SO good. It adds a whole new dimension to the food. I've read so many other criticisms in the reviews of how bland the food is because it's just meat on plain rice. It's not that simple...this is high quality cooking and you have to set your expectations accordingly. Let me note that we got take out. It's a tiny little establishment and we didn't stay. It feels like more of a fast food place than a fancy restaurant. The prices are very high on line with the quality of meat I suspect. But it's not a fine dining experience if you stay. Also, the service was awful. Both on the phone and in person, the same lady was ice cold and not very helpful at all. She had just come up from the basement and didn't even pay attention to me waiting to claim my food. I had to actually ask for my order. But as with a few other reviews, I'm still giving the place five stars because of the food. Sometimes you chalk up the service to the 'charm' of the place.

The grilled meat and kebabs were delicious and juicy! I really appreciate how tender and moist the meat was, unlike what I've had at other places. The smoky flavors from the charcoal grill were fantastic. The eggplant dish and salad were also very tasty. The food arrived quickly, and the service was efficient. Portion sizes were perfect and offered great value.

I recently dined at POM Grand Persian Grill, and it was an unforgettable experience. One dish that truly stood out was the Torsh. This strip-loin steak, marinated with pomegranate and walnuts and grilled on wood, was simply exquisite. The marinade infused the steak with a perfect balance of sweet and earthy flavors. The wood grilling added smokiness, enhancing the steak’s tender and juicy texture. Each bite was a burst of unique and harmonious flavors. It is a small restaurant, not suited for big get-togethers.

We ordered barg and Soltani. Both were delicious.
